Liz performed in MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS with the Portland Symphony Orchestra in Portland , Maine from December 9 – 18, 2005. 

On November 28, 2005, Liz hosted BROADWAY CLOSE UP - BOUND FOR BROADWAY VI.  This concert featured songs from shows in development and took place at Kaufman Center ’s Merkin Hall in NYC. 

On November 7, 2005, Liz was the special guest of LEA SALONGA when Ms. Salonga performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC.  Liz and Lea starred together in Miss Saigon on Broadway.

  Liz performed with other Broadway veterans such as Judy Blazer, Alix Korey, and Rebecca Luker on October 24, 2005 in AND THEN I WROTE….THE SONGS OF STEVE MARZULLO at Birdland in New York City .

  On October 23, 2005, Liz performed in BROADWAY ORIGINALS as part of the First Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival at New York City ’s Town Hall.  The concert featured other famous Broadway stars singing songs that they made famous, and Liz closed the show singing “The Story Goes On” from Baby.  

  Also on October 23, 2005, Liz and her sister Ann premiered a new song titled “Perfect Harmony” in WITH LOVE, FROM BROADWAY TO THE BAYOU, a benefit to aid those affected by Hurricane Katrina.  The song was written by David Shire especially for Liz and Ann.  The show was at Joe’s Pub in NYC, and also featured many Broadway and Cabaret performers.  

  Ms. Callaway join stars from Broadway and cabaret including her sister Ann, Karen Mason, Judy Kaye, and Donna Murphy on October 16, 2005 in a performance title HEARTSONG – Concert for Hurricane Katrina Relief at Symphony Space in New York City.  

  Liz performed on October 1, 2005 with the University of Arizona Symphony Orchestra on campus as part of the closing ceremony of CAMPAIGN ARIZONA . 

  Liz participated in an industry reading of the Broadway revue OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR on September 26 and 27, 2005, at the York Theatre in New York City . 

  On September 25, 2005, Liz signed autographs at the celebrity table at the BC/EFA ANNUAL FLEA MARKET in New York City .

  On September 21, 2005, Liz joined performers Judy Blazer and Walter Charles in singing songs from the recent CD Time After Time / Dodsworth at the LINCOLN CENTER TOWER RECORDS.

  Liz was a last minute addition to the BROADWAY UNPLUGGED 2, which took place in NYC on September 19, 2005.  Liz sang “Be a Lion” from The Wiz. 

  Liz performed her solo cabaret show on September 17, 2005, at the PROVINCETOWN THEATER in Provincetown , MA . 

  On September 9, 2005, Liz sang “The Tennis Song” from City of Angels with Ron Bohmer at the NEWPORT IN NEW YORK GALA hosted by the International Tennis Hall of Fame.  This was the premier social event of the US Open, and this year’s event will honor the new inductees into the organization’s Hall of Fame. 

  Liz and the Boston Pops toured together this summer together.  Dates included:

Liz can be heard on a CD released of TIME AFTER TIME / DODSWORTH – New Songs From New Musicals.  This recording comes from a concert of songs from two musicals by Jeffrey Saver and Stephen Cole on September 19, 2004. 

Ghostlight Records has released a CD of the cast from the September 2004 Actor’s Fund Concert of HAIR.  Liz can be heard singing “Good Morning Starshine” on the recording.  The CD can be ordered at: http://www.sh-k-boom.com/ghostlight/.

Liz performed along with other Broadway performers during a week-long cruise on R FAMILY VACATIONS that set sail from New York City on July 10, 2005.

Liz performed with THE BOSTON POPS on July 1 – 2, 2005 in their BABY BOOMER BASH.

On June 25, 2005, Liz and her sister Ann presented SIBLING REVELRY in Milwaukee, WI at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.

Ms. Callaway performed in BROADWAY BY THE YEAR 1962 on June 13, 2005 at Town Hall in NYC.

Liz performed in DIVAS ON HUDSON 3 on June 11, 2005.  This outdoor concert in Croton-On-Hudson, NY featured other Broadway divas such as Liz, Alice Ripley, Andrea McArdle, Capathia Jenkins, Debbie Gravitte, Karen Mason, and Jason Graae.

Liz hosted BROADWAY CLOSE-UP: BOUND FOR BROADWAY V on June 6, 2005 at Merkin Hall in New York City.  The concert featured performances of songs from new musicals in development.


On June 2, 2005, Liz Callaway and Michael Cerveris assisted in presenting the NATIONAL MUSIC COUNCIL – AMERICAN EAGLE AWARD to Stephen Sondheim for his contributions to American Musical Theater.   The ceremony was at The Players Club in New York City, and Liz performed “What More Do I Need?”.

Liz sang songs from her CD The Beat Goes On with ALABAMA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA on May 27, 2005 Birmingham, AL.

Ms. Callaway performed in 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY at the Tarrytown (NY) Music Hall on May 21, 2005.

On May 7, 2005, Liz and her sister Ann performed their show SIBLING REVELRY in Cleveland, Ohio, as part of a benefit for the Great Lakes Theater Festival.

On April 12, 2005, Liz performed in a concert in SHANGHAI, CHINA that was broadcast on Chinese television.

Ms. Callaway presented her solo cabaret show at the CREST THEATRE in Delray Beach, Florida on April 4 and 5, 2005.

Liz and Ann presented RELATIVE HARMONY from April 9 – 10, 2005 in Flushing, NY at Queens Theatre in the Park.

On April 12, 2005, Liz performed in a concert in SHANGHAI, CHINA that was broadcast on Chinese television.

Liz and her sister Ann were part of a panel discussion entitled NEW YORK DREAMAKERS: People Who Came To New York & Achieved Their Dreams that was held on March 28, 2005. 

On March 19, 2005, Liz participated in WALL TO WALL SONDHEIM at Symphony Space in New York City.  

Liz and Jason Graae brought their show BACKSTAGE BROADWAY BUDDIES to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center at California State University in Long Beach, CA from March 16 – 17, 2005. 

On March 3, 2005, Liz performed with composer Stephen Schwartz in Barbados as part of the HOLDERS SEASON. 

 Liz and Jason also performed their show as a fundraising event for the LAKE DILLON THEATRE in Dillon, Colorado on February 26, 2005. 

Liz and Jason Graae brought their show BACKSTAGE BROADWAY BUDDIES to the Carpenter Performing Arts Center at California State University in Long Beach, CA from March 16 – 17, 2005. 

Ms. Callaway sang songs from her The Beat Goes On CD in SOUNDS OF THE SIXTIES with the Portland Symphony on February 12 and 13, 2005 at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Maine. 

Liz performed in 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York on February 4, 2005. 

Liz and Ann recently won 2005 NIGHTLIFE AWARDS on January 31, 2005, for Outstanding Duo/Group Cabaret Performance in a Major Engagement.

Liz and her sister Ann presented SIBLING REVELRY from January 19 – 22, 2005 in Costa Mesa, CA at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. 

On January 15, 2005, Liz appeared with Jason Graae in BACKSTAGE BROADWAY BUDDIES at the Edison Theatre of Washington University in St. Louis, MO.  

Liz appeared in Washington DC at The Kennedy Center in THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, which runs from December 28, 2004 – January 2, 2005.
